I wile away the hours resurrecting heirloom pins, broken earrings and forgotten dress clips.
While I have spent years overseas, my roots are here in California, repository of the ocean currents and so many great migrations of the world. Living overseas crystallized to me the lifestyle here -- not just the Hollywood facade -- but the shuttered canneries and splintered piers and bleached Deco buildings.
California is a crush of forces. And nowhere does curiosity and refined taste lead to such discoveries, from the crumbling strata of an ancient cliff in La Jolla to the flea market in Little Saigon to the fine dis-possessions of the aging Midwest transplant in Sonoma, sold at some backwater antique shed.
I try to bring this breadth to the pieces I make. Each piece is unique or very limited edition, and many can be worn with everything from a tank top to a cocktail or wedding dress. Everything arrives with a complimentary gift wrap.
